Retete is a recipe browsing app published by Geek Lemons. The app does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone access.

Information the App Uses
Retete loads public recipe content from the WordPress REST API at retete-rapide.com. This includes recipe titles, images, excerpts, categories, and recipe pages.
The app stores a small amount of information locally on your device so that basic features work:
- favorite recipe IDs
- recently opened recipe IDs
- visited recipe IDs used for recipe-of-the-day notifications
- your notification preference
This local app data is not sent to Geek Lemons servers by the app.
Advertising and Consent
Retete uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google Mobile Ads and related Google services may collect or receive information such as device information, approximate location derived from IP address, advertising identifiers, app interaction data, ad views, ad clicks, diagnostics, and consent choices. Google may use this information to provide, measure, and improve ads, including personalized ads where permitted and consented to.
Retete uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage consent where required, including for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. If you do not consent to personalized ads, Google may still show non-personalized or contextual ads where allowed.

Notifications
If you allow notifications, Retete may send a daily recipe notification. Notification scheduling is handled on your device. You can disable notifications in the app or through Android system settings.
Sharing and External Links
The app includes sharing and source-link features. If you choose to share a recipe or open a source page, that action may involve other apps or websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by those third parties, not by Retete.
Permissions
Retete uses internet access to load recipes, images, ads, and consent information. On Android versions that require it, the app asks for notification permission before sending notifications.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local favorites, recent recipes, visited recipe IDs, and notification settings remain on your device until you delete the app, clear the app data, or change the relevant settings in the app. Retete does not maintain a user account database for this app.

Children
Retete is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly ask children to provide personal information.
Security
Retete uses HTTPS connections for its public recipe source and Google services where those services provide them. Local app preferences are stored in Android app storage controlled by the operating system.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when legal, advertising, or platform requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
